Doris (Jaeschke) Harwe, 84, of West Hartford, and previously of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late Sven Harwe, passed away on Monday (March 9, 2015) at Hebrew Home in West Hartford. She was born in Adams, MA. the daughter of Felix and Amelia (Guettler) Jaeschke. Doris was a graduate of St. Joseph's College and went on to work as a Spanish teacher for the Farmington school system. With her fluency in Spanish Doris had the opportunity to travel to other countries including Mexico and Spain. She leaves behind a daughter Britt Marie Harwe of Glastonbury and a granddaughter Caitlin Gallagher. She also leaves her longtime friends Doris and Elida. Doris will be missed by her friends at Millwood Park and the Wethersfield Senior Center. A graveside service will be held on Monday (March 16, 2015) 11 AM in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm St.Rocky Hill.
