John S. Scacca

October 11, 1929 - April 7, 2021

John Scacca Jr. (91) of Rocky Hill, CT passed away on April 7th, 2021 at Hughes Convalescent Home. Born in Greenwich, CT on October 11th, 1929 to the late Frances Negrola and John Scacca. After graduating from Greenwich High School, he served in the Connecticut National Guard and then the U.S. Army. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Dorothy, his son Michael of Rocky Hill, and his son John and wife Christina of Florida, grandchildren Cara and Johnny, great-granddaughter Alyssa and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Anthony and wife Mary. Visitation will be from 10am to 11am with the funeral service beginning at 11am on Wednesday April 14th at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT 06067. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
