Judith Ann Baldwin

Judith A. Baldwin, 85, of Cromwell, beloved wife of Robert A. Baldwin, passed away on February 26, 2017. Judy was born in Ogdensburgh, NY on February 24, 1932. Soon after, she moved to Barre, VT where she graduated from Spalding High School. Judy went on to graduate from University of Vermont and became Director of Medical Records at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, VT. After meeting Bob, she moved to Hartford, Ct and became the Assistant Director of Medical Records at Hartford Hospital, retiring after 24 years of service. Judy and Bob loved hockey, and were Hartford Whaler season ticket holders from inception. She also loved jazz and attended many jazz concerts throughout the Northeast. Judy had many hidden talents which included her lead singing role in Judy Poochie and the Buckaroos. Judy was a devoted wife and step-mother and very proud of her Scottish heritage. Along with her husband Bob, she leaves behind step-children; James Baldwin (Mary-Ann) of Raleigh, NC, Robert Baldwin, Jr. (Fern Fitzgerald) of Avon, and Sandra Clinton (James) of Mansfield, MA. She is survived by six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a funeral service in the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St, Rocky Hill on Friday (March 3, 2017) at 11 AM. Burial will immediately follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mapleview Health and Rehab, Recreation Fund, 856 Maple St. Rocky Hill, CT. 06067.
