We were blessed to have our devoted mother, Juliette Marie (Benoit) Yerrington of Cromwell with us for eighty eight years. She left this world on October 4, 2015 to be with God and reunite with her loving husband of fifty eight happy years, Russel Francis Yerrington. Juliette was born in Burlington, VT. the daughter of Leon and Germaine (Alix) Benoit. She graduated from Sacred Heart School, Taftville, CT and attended Jesus Mary Academy in Fall River, MA. She was a member of the Children of Mary prior to marrying our dad. Her life was happily devoted to her husband, family, church and community. Through a terrific amount of work and sacrifice she raised five children, while showing exemplary morals. Her favorite time of year was Christmas.She served her church with her cooking, baking, and crafting talents. Juliette's motto was " Your life is God's gift to you, what you do with it is your gift to him." Juliette was an active parishioner of St. John's Church, Cromwell.Since 1954 she worked on numerous fundraising activities, both christian and civic. She was the first leader of St. John's Mothers Circle; a charter member of the Women's Guild;member of the Adoration Group; solicited for the American Red Cross and Bishop's Fund; served frequent stretches of Jury Duty. Juliette was predeceased by her eldest son Francis and her two brothers Norman J. Benoit and Reginald R. Benoit. She is survived by four of her children, Mark and his wife Rebecca, Jane Albro, Robert Yerrington, and Patricia Yerrington; four precious grandchildren, Russell Yerrington, Jessica Yerrington, Kate Albro, and Brett Albro; four great grandchildren; two beloved sisters, Rita Chinigo and Norma Connolly; two sisters- in- law Louise Yerrington and Marilyn Anderle; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John's Church 5 St. John Ct. Cromwell at 11 AM on Wednesday October 7, 2015. Calling hours will be from 9 AM to 10:30 at the Rose Hill Funeral 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill just prior to the mass. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations in Juliette's memory can be made to the American Red Cross CT. Chapter, St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen in Middletown, CT. or St, John's Church "Divine Mercy" Chapel, Cromwell, CT.
