Martha O. Bialaski

October 1, 1928 - March 23, 2018

Martha (Oquisanti) Bialaski, 89, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of the late John J. Bialaski, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Mapleview Manor. She was born in Woonsocket, RI, a daughter of Matthew and Amelia Oquisanti. Martha enjoyed watching daily Mass and Price Is Right. She also enjoyed a good, not-over-cooked cheeseburger. She leaves behind a son, Bruce Bialaski and his wife Lisa of Largo, FL; two daughters, Linda Sapienza and her husband Joseph of Hartford and Johnna Gurr and her husband Ronald of Hamden. She also leaves her grandchildren, Austin Bialaski, and Gretchen, Jeremy, Lauren, and Sam Gurr, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph and Tony Oquisanti, Margaret Maura and Anne Klemyk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11 AM in Christ the King Parish at Corpus Christi Church, Wethersfield. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. There will be a calling hour from 9:15 to 10:15 AM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, just prior to leaving for church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Connecticut, 501 George St. Suite A, New Haven, CT. 06511. Special thanks goes to her wonderful caregivers at Mapleview Manor in Rocky Hill.
