Pamela (Lawrence) Giannetti of East Hartford passed from this life on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington. Born in Hartford on July 13, 1958, she was a daughter of Stephen “LAS" Lawrence, a native of Jamaica and Sylvia (Dmytryshyn) Lawrence. Pam was a 1976 graduate of Penney High School and Creative Hair Design in East Hartford. She was employed as a hairdresser and beautician at various salons in the Greater Hartford area and subsequently as a sales representative as FarmTek in East Hartford. She was a longtime member of the Full Gospel Interdenominational Church. She leaves her devoted husband of 24 years Michael Giannetti, her mother Sylvia, two brothers Stephen of East Hartford and Dennis, a sister Donna Dzilenski of Plainville and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her father Stephen and a sister Cynthia Moore. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, photography, travelling and spending time at the beach enjoying the serenity of the ocean. She was a member of various crocheting clubs, the YTC Metal Detecting Club and the Polish Genealogical Society of Connecticut. She was proud of her Jamaican cultural heritage and enjoyed meeting and spending time with relatives. Pam’s engaging and kind disposition, and her generosity and concern for others, endeared her to all and she will be missed by all who knew her. Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. on June 14 at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill. Funeral services will be held on June 15th at 11.00 AM at the funeral home.
